The creator of the flow will always be shown in the Approval details (email content and all clients). This is to prevent spoofing of approval sender identities. Approval recipient format. The AssignedTo field can accept user identities in the form of: Email address (not just the primary). Select Send Email Approvals to All and select Delivery Method: Inline - HTML Links. If you like you could add a security policy that Peoplesoft will check if the sender of the Approval if actually the one that received the approval mail by selecting Perform Send-To Security Check.

Symptoms
On : 9.2 version, Approval Framework Workflow (AWE) Email Approval
Users are trying to approve absence requests through email, but the status of the transaction is still showing as 'Pending for approval'.
Approval Action status should be updated on the pending transactions.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Employee submit Absence transaction.
2. Manager receive pending approval email.
3. Manager approves/deny transaction.
4. EOAWEMC process is run.
